This enclave, nestled across from the current Village Hall, will feature open lawn areas for passive activities, strolling gardens, meditative spaces, progressive exercise zones, and a “Mother Earth, Cycle of Life”-themed playground designed by award-winning Danish firm, Monstrum.

Village Hall

RFQ No. 2024-005 was advertised on June 25, 2024, for the provision of the necessary services to complete the Architectural, Engineering and Construction Administration services required for the design and construction of the new Bal Harbour Village Hall.

Harbourfront Park

Mikyoung Kim Design Studio, an internationally acclaimed, award winning landscape architectural firm was selected by Village Council for the design of the Harbourfront Park, Jetty and Cutwalk project.

96th Street Plaza

The vision includes a paved walkway with an iconic wave pattern, as well as stepped seating with wooden canopies to enhance the natural aesthetic of the entranceway to the ocean.

Building

A professional, business-friendly organization committed to preserving the health, welfare, and safety of its residents, businesses, and the public

Capital Program

Capital improvement project administration, consulting services agreements, and construction contracts for the development of existing and new Bal Harbour Village facilities

Finance

Responsible for centralized accounting, cash management, financial and debt management, tax and utility collections, and preparation of the annual budget

Human Resources

Coordinates all personnel-related functions of the Village government, including recruiting, employee relations, employee benefits, labor relations and risk management

Public Works & Beautification

Providing reliable and high quality water that protects public health and safety and complies with all federal, state and local regulations

Police

Bal Harbour Police Department is exclusively at the service of the residents and visitors of Bal Harbour Village, Florida

Recreation, Arts & Culture

Create and implement programs, activities, and events that elevate the quality of life for the residents of Bal Harbour Village

Tourism

The Tourism Department is responsible for the marketing and branding efforts of the Village and is the liaison for the Tourism Board

Village Attorney

The Village Attorney's Office provides a broad range of knowledge and expertise in the area of city, county and local government law

Village Clerk

The Village Clerk serves as the Secretary of the Village, the Official Secretary of the Village Council, Boards and Committees, the Custodian of Records, and the Supervisor of Elections for Bal Harbour Village

Village Manager

Responsible for providing executive level leadership, vision and guidance to the organization, and recommendations to the Village Council

Village Mayor & Council

The Council meets a minimum of once a month (except in August) in the Council Chamber at Village Hall, unless otherwise noted. Variances must be received at least 21 days prior to the meeting to be placed on the agenda
